What to look for in vegan edible chocolates

Not every chocolate labeled cannabis is vegan, gluten-free, or dosed consistently. Here is what to look for before you buy, and what we do about each point on our own lineup.

Dark chocolate with no milk or dairy solids

It is important that the chocolate is dark and has no milk or dairy solids. Milk chocolate and many blends marketed as dark still carry dairy, which rules them out for vegans and anyone avoiding dairy.

Confirm how the cannabis was extracted

It is also very important to confirm how the cannabis was extracted, meaning without harmful chemicals. Our method uses no butane (BHO), no CO2 oil, and no ethanol oil. Lev developed it in his own kitchen while cooking cannabis and achieved homogeneity, which is what makes consistent dosing possible.

Check the lecithin

Some chocolate brands use chocolate that contains soy lecithin; we don't, we use sunflower lecithin. If you are avoiding soy, that single line on the label tells you everything.

Gluten and nuts

Some brands use flour or other gluten products in their edibles, but we do not. Lev is allergic to gluten and soy, so every product is made without soy or gluten and is also nut-free.

Consistent dosing you can divide

All of our chocolates are made in the same mold and divisible by four. If you are looking to micro-dose, that means a quarter of a bar is a consistent, repeatable portion.

The five strengths each carry their own color packaging for consistent, stress-free dosing: red at 5 mg, gold at 15 mg, green at 30 mg, blue at 50 mg, and black at 100 mg.
